Vintage stoneware table lamp with large lampshade by Accolay circa 60/70

Mid-century vintage sandstone table lamp with large high lampshade, by accolay, france, circa 60s-70s. Comes with its original tubular lampshade, high and resin wrapped in rope and string, orange, brown and gold color, then covered with resin. When turned on, it emits a warm, subtle golden hue (see photos.) the base is made of sandstone with a design and color palette similar to a smaller accolay table lamp that we have also available on the site (see photo of the two side by side), except that this one is wider and more "cocoa" brown color, with subtle shades of orange in the circular grooves that go around the body and up to the neck, where it meets the support and the socket (see photos.) the piece is signed. The signature "accolay" is on a piece of felt under the base, set up to protect any surface on which the lamp is placed (see photo.) the lamp is in fantastic, original and vintage condition as it has been well maintained over time. No cracks or chips. Very slight traces of age and use proportionate to time, and a beautiful patina of time on the base, lampshade and supports (see photos.) it has only been slightly dusted and cleaned compared to the original patina. Comes with its original plug, cord and on/off switch (see photo.) it has been tested and works perfectly (see photos.) works with a screw bulb (preferably flame type) type e27 (not included.) european plug up to 250v. Whether placed in the living room on a side table, on a shelf to provide comfortable light in a relaxation area, desk or bookcase, on a bedside table or in an entrance, this cool lamp is the perfect accent piece for any mid-century, contemporary rustic or retro-bohemian environment.
