Vintage Italian Mazzega chandelier in textured glass, 1960s–1970s.

Spectacular vintage Italian chandelier composed of several rows of oval transparent and textured glass leaves, suspended from a chrome metal structure. The layering of the glass elements creates a beautiful sculptural effect reminiscent of ice, while delicately reflecting and diffusing light throughout the room. Once lit, the chandelier offers stunning light play and becomes a true centrepiece. Its layered construction is characteristic of Italian lighting from the 1960s and 1970s. Its aesthetic recalls certain creations by Vistosi and AV Mazzega, although the light fixture bears no signature or label to confirm the manufacturer. The chandelier has four E14 sockets. It has been tested, works perfectly, and is ready to be installed. It will naturally find its place in a living room, dining room, bedroom, entrance hall, or corridor. It integrates particularly well into a mid-century, Hollywood Regency, contemporary, or eclectic interior. Condition. The transparent glass leaves are overall in very good vintage condition. Some elements show very small chips or old losses on the thinnest parts of the glass. Thanks to the irregular texture and the layered arrangement of the leaves, these slight imperfections are practically invisible when the chandelier is assembled and hung. The chain and visible chrome elements are in very good condition. The chrome ceiling cover shows some signs of age and use, mainly located in areas that are less visible after installation. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they are an integral part of the description. Being an antique, this item may show slight signs of age and use that contribute to its authenticity.
