Vintage lacquered panel woman and cranes, eggshell.

Square wall panel in the spirit of Asian lacquers from the 1980s-1990s. This is a composition directly influenced by the work of Ting Shao Kuang and the Yunnan painting movement. An elegant silhouette in a kimono, head raised towards an orange sun, is surrounded by cranes with elongated beaks. The glossy black background is animated with iridescent metallic leaves in turquoise, gold, and pink, with fine holographic glitter. The plumage is made from inlaid cracked eggshell, and the decor is enhanced with engraved lines. A perfect statement piece for a living room, entryway, or office, in an Art Deco, modern chinoiserie, or maximalist ambiance. Not signed to my knowledge, Asian workshop work, probably Vietnamese. Condition: very good vintage condition, glossy finish. No chips detected. Dimensions: 40 × 40 cm, thickness 1 cm. Hanging hook on the back.
