Vintage Rhodacéram pitcher melon – Saint-Uze 60s-70s

Vintage pitcher melon model 285. Generously rounded and ribbed body, large loop handle, and a widely flared spout. On a shiny ivory background, glazes with long drips in shades of blue, gray-green, and honey brown. Relief marking Rhoda 285 under the base: the Rhodacéram factory, founded in 1957 in Saint-Uze, is part of the ceramic tradition of this region of Drôme. It is particularly noted for its productions in glazed stoneware and its drip effect decorations during the second half of the 20th century. In beautiful vintage condition, shiny (see photos).
