Floc'h, born in 1953, is a major artist in illustration and comics. He is one of the leading proponents of the clear line style, alongside Yves Chaland, Ted Benoit, and Joost Swarte. An illustrator much more than just a cartoonist and comic book author, Floc’h applies his talent to cinema (posters and credits, for Alain Resnais, Woody Allen, Mike Leigh...) as well as to advertising and the press (‘The New Yorker', ‘Le Monde', ‘Monsieur', ‘Lire', ‘World of Interiors'...). The best of this work is collected in "Un homme dans la foule" (1985) and in the two volumes of "Floc'h illustrateur" (2000 and 2005).
