Superb 19th-century Louis-Philippe / Restoration style chest of drawers, made of solid walnut with a warm and luminous patina. It stands out with its elegant sculpted columns featuring twisted designs and its original light veined marble top with a simple ogee edge (just placed), showcasing subtle pink and grey veining, in perfect condition (no cracks or chips). Storage: 4 large drawers (including 1 curved ogee top drawer). Details & Finishes: White porcelain handles providing a stunning contrast, original brass lock entries (sold without key). Condition: Beautiful original patina. Normal signs of use and age-related marks (natural shrinkage crack on the right side, small veneer loss on the inner side of the right front leg visible in detail photos, old traces of woodworm treated as a precaution), which give it all its charm and authenticity. The piece is sound, very stable, and perfectly functional. Dimensions: Width: 128 cm. Height: 98 cm. Depth: 55.5 cm.
