Bbpr studio ro lamp for artemide

The ro metal and glass desk lamp is a model created in 1962 by bbpr studio and published by artemide. The lamp was originally designed for the olivetti offices and constituted one of artemide's first collaborations with consultant designers. The ro lamp is referenced on page 359 of the book 1000 lights eds charlotte and peter fiell published by taschen. It works perfectly and its condition is almost perfect (a few micro scratches on the dome and the base of the foot). This piece no longer bears its attribution mark.
