Pernilla Lounge chair by Bruno Mathsson for Dux, 1960s

An extremely comfortable lounge armchair by iconic swedish designer bruno mathsson was made by dux in sweden in the 1960s. It is an improved version of pernilla's original version, designed in 1944. The chair features a minimalistic and organic design with a curved seat and backrest. It is made of bent beech plywood (back in the 40s, it was a progressive project !) canvas and new wool color upholstery woven in a blue and orange delicate pepito pattern similar to the original. It is truly one of the most comfortable lounge chairs of the 20th century, perfectly shaped to the human body. The wood, canvas and all the leather parts are in their original condition with minor traces of use, all padding is redone. The upholstery was redone according to the original pattern. We leave minor, natural signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We bring it back to its best look, considering it is 60 years old.
