Set of 6 dining chairs from the 19th century or high-quality reproductions from the 19th century. The oval shape of the medallion backrest is one of the most emblematic features of Louis XVI furniture. They have straight legs that taper towards the bottom, with vertical grooves known as fluting. At the junction between the leg and the seat, there is a small square carved with a flower (rosette), typical of the cabinetry from this period. The wood has been painted or patinated in cream/broken white tones, giving them a family home or shabby chic appearance. They are covered in a petrol blue (or blue-grey) velvet-type fabric secured with visible upholstery nails around the edges. Some wear is noticeable on the seat fabric and marks on the wood, suggesting that they are either authentic antique pieces or high-quality reproductions that have already aged well. This set is ideal for a classic dining room or to add a touch of elegance to a more modern interior. Perfect for a renovation project with high added value. Price displayed for the set of 6. Width 50/40, depth 45, height 99/48.
