1940s silverware vase made by wilhelm kåge for gustavsberg. Baluster vase in stoneware covered with turquoise porcelain and inlay of seedlings of flowers and silver collar. Mark under the bass height 25 cm diameter to widest 20 cm weight 3kg in perfect condition. The silvera sandstone collection, now iconic with its green glaze and silver decorations, is one of wilhelm kåge's most recognizable motifs. Designed in the late 1920s, it was first shown at the stockholm exhibition in 1930 and was later produced by gustavsberg, whose designer was the art director of the 1930s and 1940s.
