Giuseppe canella (1788 - 1847) italian painting, 1840s

Antique italian school painting by giuseppe canella (1788-1847), is an oil on canvas and is signed in the lower left corner of the frame with canella and presumably dated 1843/1847. Depicting a mediterranean face of a house with mountains in the background and a view to a lake/sea on the left. Framed in a gilded wooden frame with some damage all around. Valued by sotheby's between £5000 - £7000 but in fair condition to them. It has some craquelure all around and the canvas has been reattached once, but otherwise in a reasonable condition.
