Casala Penguin Chair by Carl Sasse

A penguin chair that comes in excellent condition with original fabric. The dark brown beech wood frame is in very good condition. The orange-red cotton fabric shows hardly any signs of wear. The suspension of the seat is perfect. Carl sasse designed the chair in the 1950s for the german manufacturer casala, which was founded in 1917 near hanover. Casala has worked with several of germany's top designers and created some design icons.
