Set of oyster slip plates Secla Portugal

Set of 6 superb oyster or shellfish plates in caramel/amber colored slip. Each of them is made up of 6 slots to accommodate oysters as well as a central compartment for lemon or shallot sauce. They are stamped "s." "portugal", which indicates that they come from the secla factory, a company founded in 1947 and based in caldas da rainha, a mecca of portuguese ceramics creating emblematic pieces of world renown. It permanently closed its doors in 2008. In very good condition, only 2 tiny chips are present under 2 plates. Dimensions: d 24.3 xh 2 cm total weight: 4521 g (handcrafted, the weight of each plate is different).
