Armchairs Bridge Bow Wood 1950

Pair of bridge armchairs attributed to wilhelm von bode by steiner Design French 1950s original skaï and curved wood. This armchair made of curved ash is an aesthetic and technical challenge. Its base is worked with a single piece of arched solid wood, which forms the armrest. A brass ring, the only attachment point, assembles base and backrest, ensuring flexibility and great seat comfort. The seat is flexible, very comfortable covered with a fawn skaï. Beautiful vintage condition in its juice, original varnish. Slight traces of wear and a scratch on skaï (see close-up photo). Also note some marks of use on the wood. Dimensions: l58xp64xh77.
