Square stool in solid pine

This stool seems to have already had several lives: the first probably in the 80s or 90s in natural: varnished pine, then it was lacquered in green (between fir green and dark water green), then someone fixed a vinyl flooring (if so!!) on the seat with the help of a few upholsterer's nails, probably to hide the unfinished attempts to remove green paint! And that's where I come in: the upholsterer's nails left holes in the seat, I plugged them with wood pulp, and I accentuated some gaps on the green paint to hide a little these plugged holes. To use as is in a wabi sabi spirit or to revisit for the umpteenth time! Perfect also as a piece of sofa or bedside. It is in good structural condition: stable and solid, but does not hide its previous lives: scratches, scratches, stains and gaps on the paint. It measures 46 cm in height, the square seat measures 30 cm on one side for a thickness of 2.5 cm. It weighs about 2.3 kg.
