Spinetto Chiavari stool series Italy

A set of three stools (or possibly repurposed as three small side tables) in a nesting style, attributed to Spinetto Chiavari, Italy. They feature a structure made of blackened wood, aged over time, and a seat made of light woven cord. They are also known with a straw seat, but here in the woven cord version, which gives them a lovely Scandinavian look. We love the curves of the whole piece, with the legs being very delicate. The light-coloured seat elegantly contrasts with the dark base. The weaving is very tight and elegant, though it has some defects and a few strands are damaged. This does not affect the overall sturdiness and comfort of the seat. The defects are mostly visual. The base has a patina on the black paint/stain, with some variations and a few missing spots. - Dimensions - Dimensions of the largest - L 39 X D 48 X H 45 cm.
