Violin-shaped ceremonial table, with blackened pear tree structure, almost entirely covered with 'boulle' marquetry.  This technique, which consists of a superposition of red turtle scales and chiseled brass, makes it possible to obtain these arabesques, rinceaux and volutes of great finesse. The curves and counter-curves of the tray are underlined by a large brass rod shaped in foliage. The hectic belt, following the lines of the top, opens on the front by a drawer assembled in tails of arondes.  The latter is equipped with a lock in working order and the furniture is supplied with its cut head key.  In addition to andré boulle's marquetry, framed by brass sticks, the four faces of this table are also embellished in the middle with four mascarons in bonze. The whole rests on four generously curved legs, embellished with espagnolettes with soft faces in the upper part, sabots in the lower part, and nets of ridges uniting them. Period: xixth – napoleon iii. Dimensions: height: 76cm X length: 148cm X width: 77cm. This 'boulle' table will conquer lovers of chic, refined furniture. It has benefited from a meticulous restoration in the rules of the art in our workshops and is completely varnished with a stamp.
