Louis Vuitton Art Deco coffee table

A rare Louis Vuitton table; original cast iron base and a restored leather-covered top, typical of the creations intended for Parisian cafés and restaurants frequented by the traveling clientele of the early 20th century. From the late 19th century, Louis Vuitton established itself as the trunk maker for the wealthy traveling on international trains such as the Orient Express. His creations accompanied this clientele even into lounges and restaurants, where tables bearing the "LV" logo were found. In 2018, the LVMH group acquired Belmond Ltd., formerly Orient-Express Hotels, thus integrating luxury trains and hotels inspired by this travel legend into its universe.
