Set of two ceramics by André Baud, a thin bottle (28 cm in height) and a small cut (L16 H3 l10 cm) in free form in red enamelled ceramics with stylized star decoration - André Baud (1903 - 1986) is a graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Bourges, Iendra the Grand Prix de la Ceramics in 1923 - He moved in 1942 with his wife to Vallauris - He actively participated in the golden age of Vallauris with ceramicists such as Suzanne and Georges Ramié, Robert Picault, Roger Capron, Jean Derval. He then made numerous exhibitions, both in France and abroad In the 1950s, André Baud moved away from culinary ceramics: he adopted brightly coloured enamels and decorative themes such as leaves, fish and stars. He also creates cosmic-inspired sets, themes that he will continue to develop more and more frequently
