Yoouré mask Ivory Coast Wood H: 31 cm This stylized anthropozoomorphic mask has an ovoid face, dominated by a bulging chin in visor. It is extended on each side of the face by two tusks curved towards each other, thus framing the face. The slit eyes are hollowed out under the frontal hemisphere. The proboscis splits to form the half-open mouth. A bird is placed on the top of the skull.
