Magnificent oval decorative plate in vintage glazed earthenware, originating from the famous pottery town of El Puente del Arzobispo (Toledo province, Spain). This unique traditional craftsmanship is officially listed as part of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage. This is an authentic piece entirely hand-painted, bearing on the back the signature "Robles P.A. To" for the master artisan Francisco Fernández Robles. The piece features a superb Renaissance / 18th-century style decoration with a putto (cherub) in shades of blue highlighted by a bright yellow background and a scalloped border. • Dimensions: 24 cm (length) X 17 cm (width) X 3 cm (height) • Condition: Perfect condition. No chips, no nicks, or cracks. The glaze is impeccable and shiny. • Attachment system: Sold with its original spring wire wall mounting system installed on the back.
