Mid-century danish rosewood & skai double bed, 1960

Midcentury double size bed manufactured in denmark in the 1960s. Sits on four rosewood splayed legs with long headboard and footboard, covered in the original danish 'skai', giving this bed the classic 1960s 'floating' look. Rosewood veneered sides. The rosewood night tables each have a fold-down door. Condition. The rosewood night tables and bed ends have been re-finished. Headboard/footboard appear to have been re-coloured fairly recently, as the rear side of the headboard shows the original cream colour. Includes bed slats. Apart from a small mark on headboard (see photos: ), the ski and rosewood are both in great shape. The bed has no structural issues. Will be dismantled for easier shipping. Mattress - 190 X 140cm (standard double bed size).
