Unique bossche school desk designed by gerard wijnen in the 1970s for his own architectural firm de twee snoeken. The desk was used in their own studio and never went into production, so this is the only one existing. It is acquired from the architect tom senders, who was the associate of gerard wijnen at de twee snoeken. After the closing of their studio he was using the desk in his private residence. The desk is made according the proportions of the 'plastic number', made up by the founder of the bossche school and monk dom hans van der laan. It is made of solid pine wood lacquered in grey. The backside is not finished as 'it was not in sight'. On the frontside it has 4 drawers. The height till the drawers is 57 cm, making it less suitable as a writing desk. In their studio it was used as a display desk. Highly collectible item for lovers of the bossche school. The desk is in good original condition. Some normal traces of use.
