Unfinished carved wooden priest or monk statue

Unfinished carved from wood priest or monk. This has been a principle or test piece in the past. This comes from a large collection of a dutchman who bought it in the 70s from an artist in france. This artist's studio was full of wooden heads, busts and statues. Some religious and some not. The images were most likely made from around 1900 to about the 50s to 60s. The head has weathered beautifully over the years. A beautiful object to decorate your living or working space. H 35 / w 11 / d 9.
