Superb Art Deco coat rack with a marked architectural design. A piece as functional as it is decorative. Fully restored and sanded. It consists of a large central oval mirror, framed in openwork wood, with brass bars and hooks, a top shelf, a coat rack crossbar, and a shoe base. The geometric lines, symmetry, and play of solids and voids are typical of Art Deco from the 1920s–30s. The oak patina is soft and warm, respectful of the soul of the furniture. In very good overall condition. Healthy structure. Antique mercury mirror, bevelled, with the charm of time (slight signs of age are visible). Ideal for an entrance, hallway, family home, or character property. A piece as decorative as it is functional.
