Description
Period: ca. 1950-70. This mirror tray is one of a kind. The scalloped beveled edges give it depth and a jewelry effect. The general shape is that of a rounded rectangle. All four sides have handles (rather edges that serve as handles) that are made up of tubes that have a slightly brushed appearance; they are pale gold in color and I believe they are made of brushed brass. These tubes are in the shape of a double roller (see photo) and can be slipped out of the glass. The underside is lined with red felt. State: Very well. No damage. Some slight scratches on a particular tube (see photo) and some very minor tarnish marks on the mirror. Dimensions: see photo.
