Set of 4 Vintage Midcentury Teak and Velvet Chairs from Elliotts of Newbury for sale. Elliotts of Newbury was founded by Samuel Elliott in 1870 as a joinery works as 'Elliott’s Moulding and Joinery Company' and produced ammunition boxes and glider planes during the First and Second World War. Post War it produced some of the most collectable and iconic pieces of furniture of the 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s in Britain. Set of 4 vintage teak and velvet chairs. Beautiful dark brown frame and brand new black leatherette upholstery. Very stylish chairs that will stand out in any modern or contemporary lounge, and very comfortable to sit on. Ergonomic backrest and tapered legs give these chairs the characteristic style from the era. Frame and seat in good condition.
