MID-CENTURY modern dining chairs with rush seat, 1960s

Vintage mid-century black stained beech dining chairs with a ladder back and a rush seat (cane). The chairs date from approximately the 60s or 70s. The design bears similarities to the classic Leggera chair by the Italian Gio Ponti, but is more traditional with a modern look. This model is likely from Scandinavia. Condition: fair to good condition. The black stained woodwork shows signs of use, but also gives the chair a beautiful aged appearance. The cane webbing has no breaks. Dimensions: width 43.5 cm, depth 45 cm, height 80 cm, seat height 44/45 cm.
