Pair of armchairs by François Letourneur for Maurice Mourra, 1961

Rare pair of armchairs designed by François Letourneur and produced by Maurice Mourra in 1961. These armchairs, from French design of the 1960s, feature an elegant line characterised by their enveloping shell, sculptural armrests, and chromed steel base with airy lines. The two armchairs are preserved in very good original condition, with their period green fabric, perfectly in line with the mid-century aesthetic of the era. Very good condition, perfect seating, with a few small marks on the metal base but hardly noticeable. Height: 81 cm. Width: 72 cm. Depth: 90 cm. Seat height: 40 cm. 4 pieces available on request.
