Pair of cast iron bookends by Max Le Verrier, circa 1925, Art Deco period. Cast iron is a special alloy of much higher quality than spelter, created by Max Le Verrier and reserved for his own production. Brown patina, on black marble bases. Each squirrel is signed Max Le Verrier. Dimensions: 14 cm high X 11 cm wide X 8 cm deep.
