Publicity affiche "y'a bon banania" created in 1915. The banania brand, created in 1914, seeks to transform its cocoa with banana flour into a patriotic product. Leaving the west indian from its first posters, she identified herself as a hilarious senegalese gunner in 1915 and adopted the phrase "y'a bon" as her slogan, associated with the summary practice of french. 'poster, designed by giacomo de andreis, depicts a senegalese gunner sitting under a tree, his rifle at his feet, enjoying a bowl of banania. He is dressed as a parader: red pompom fez, short blue vareous, puffy panties. In the background, the vast plain under a banana-yellow sky evokes ripe wheat and the african savannah. Only dusty brodequins suggest war in this landscape that seems to ignore everything from the trenches. Giacomo de andreis takes up the racial stereotypes used in advertising since the 1890s: the exotic uniform and almost operetta, which has already been abandoned in combat; the outraged contrast between the black skin and the white of wide-eyed and laughing teeth; mimicry and gestures as modes of expression, for lack of words in french; and finally, the carelessness of a soldier to whom a milk drink makes us forget the war. Reissue of 1995 - on cardboard. Careful mailing with follow-up.
