Vintage art nouveau bronze electric lamp

This is a vintage art nouveau style lamp of italian manufacture, library, den, hall or study and the quality is amazing, the base of the lamp is made of heavy bronze and depicts a young woman in an evening dress reading a book. His pensive pose with the book on his lap and his hand resting on his chin almost draws you into his world. The frosted glass lampshade in the shape of a fluted flower with a raised pattern of roses pushing down that accentuates our thoughtful lady especially when the lamp is lit. The lampshade is standard size and can easily be replaced with one of your own styles. The on/off switch is located on the cord. It is an italian art nouveau style electric living room lamp that, due to its narrow and tall size and style, would be most suitable for use as a bookcase lamp, study lamp or den lamp and would really accentuate these areas. The condition is excellent both in the lamp and in the lampshade without scratches or breaks of any kind.
