Maralunga Easy Chairs by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, 1980s, Set of 2

Pair of vintage Cassina Maralunga armchairs (2), designed in 1973 by Vico Magistretti, in need of restoration. The armchairs are offered as restoration project. They are in need of re-upholstery. Significant signs of age and wear are present. Upholstery is partially thin/flat. The fabric is stained, faded, and cracked under the armrests. The backrest mechanism functions. Nevertheless, these armchairs have lost none of their comfort. Non-smoking item. These armchairs feature foldable backrests to allow for various seating positions. Cassina labeled the first models only with a sticker; the sticker is still present on one armchair. Height in low position: 70 cm, height in high position: 100 cm. Depth: 85 cm, width: 110 cm. The price is for both armchairs together.
