Description
This small jewelry box entirely made of natural cedar magnifying glass veneer is slightly curved on the lid. The latter is trimmed in its center with a brass diamond on an ebony background, and its softened edges are made of rosewood. This box closes on a functional hook hinge and has its key. The interior is finely padded with light blue fabrics showing signs of wear, visible in the photographs, guarantees of history and authenticity. This small second empire box will be a perfect case to store your jewelry. **** Period: late nineteenth.
