Double top coffee table with enamelled lava DS Picard / Monsan vintage Picard

Magnificent coffee table with an original design featuring a double top, attributed to Dominique and Suzanne Picard (Atelier Monsan Picard, circa 1960). Piece signed "DS Picard" directly in the enamelled lava decor. Structure: Black steel/metal. Tops: Enamelled lava with solar/abstract patterns in ochre, earth, and brown tones. Dimensions: Total length: 116 cm. Small top: Diameter 56 cm (Height 44 cm) Large top: Diameter 63 cm (Height 28 cm) Condition: Very good overall condition. No breaks or cracks. Shows small cooking/texture defects in the lava (original, due to the technique of enamelled lava) that add to the charm and authenticity of the piece. An ideal centrepiece for a vintage, brutalist, or Scandinavian interior. Delivery / Collection: Preferably hand delivery due to the weight of the enamelled lava, or delivery via a specialised carrier (Cocolis, etc.) at the buyer's expense.
