Azilal wool carpet 157x244cm

Handmade carpet in morocco. 100% wool. Azilal rugs are made in the berber azilal tribe in the middle atlas mountains not far from the town of beni mellall. Most carpets have very colorful patterns on a white back. Like all moroccan berber rugs, they are 100% wool and handmade. The drawings have no particular meaning but a lot of creativity that the women of the azilal tribe want to improve on their weaving.
