Sculpted Indochinese coffee table with brass tray, 1890

Beautiful tray coffee table/ tea table. Solid wooden folding base carved with dragons, bamboo and medallions/symbols. Bronze patinated brass tray. Richly decorated, with scenes of the life of an indochinese village: a fisherman, two farmers, one with his buffalo, a european / settler (recognizable by his colonial helmet and his clothes, surely an officer), dragon, bats, flowers and symbols. French indochina, circa 1890. In very good condition, professional restoration of the footing and the plateau.
