Rare Arketipo sofa

This is a very rare sofa, in this case a set of the brand arketipo loft model. From the designer by adriano piazzesi. It is an extremely innovative seating system capable of satisfying any comfort requirement, thanks to the two patented mechanisms, very simple to use. A mechanism slides the armrest/backrest group backwards, changing the depth of the seat and allowing to have on the same sofa two different seat depths: 75 cm for traditional use, 120 cm to obtain a real chaise longue. A second mechanism allows to adjust the backrest by bringing it upwards. Thanks to a series of intermediate positions, from horizontal to vertical, the support surface of the back can be increased and support, in this way, several types of posture. It is composed of a sofa with an armrest on the left followed by a chaise longue with an armrest on the right and a very large pouf. The set is about ten years old and was worth 12,000 euros plus 1,000 euros of Arketipo cushions. Will go well with Knoll Bertoia Eames Mies van der Rohe or other vintage furniture.
