Sublime and very rare pair of ceremonial armchairs from the South West of France from the end of the 18th beginning of the 19th century. Very beautiful model in richly worked solid oak with its characteristic claw feet. The armchairs have been entirely redone in the traditional manner by an upholsterer and covered with a superb fabric from the collections of the very chic Maison Pansu based on ecru linen and chocolate brown velvet arabesque decorations (slight dulling by light without aesthetic impact). Height of the backrest 135 cm, of the seat 53 cm, width 72 cm and depth 81 cm. In excellent condition, ultra qualitative, these imposing and remarkable armchairs will make the difference in a very large entrance hall or even in a large dining room. 2 exceptional classic pieces that will be all the rage in a contemporary decor. Not to be missed!!!.
