Louis XV style commode in black lacquered oak with gold fillet highlights. The curved front opens to four drawers arranged in three rows, adorned with handles and lock entries in gilded bronze; the apron is enhanced with a carved shell and extends into curved legs. The top follows the curve of the body. It measures 123 cm wide, 90 cm high, and 51 cm deep. The black lacquer is patinated and rubbed on the reliefs, revealing the wood in places: this is the decorative choice of the piece, not a flaw. The drawers slide properly.
