Olivier Roy Vallauris ceramic lamp

Ceramic lamp and vintage dried flower lampshade by ceramist olivier roy (1942-2014). The foot is signed below, the original lampshade is also signed by an artist whose name I was unable to decipher. The enamel is in shades of khaki green/dark gray. All in very good condition. Total height: 50 cm olivier roy arrived in vallauris in 1962, he started at the mûrier workshop with gustave reynaud and then with alfred thiry. He opened his first workshop in 1968. In 1992, he won the gold medal at the vallauris ceramics biennial. In 2009, the town of vallauris dedicated a major retrospective to him which retraces 40 years of creation.
