Whitewashed side table

I fell in love with this pedestal table, its slender, ribbed legs, these 4 engraved flowers, the marks on its wood. But it must be admitted that the brown of yesteryear did not put it to its advantage. Immediately I wanted to clarify it. So scraper, sander and ceramic mesh were my allies. Once the wood was exposed, it was still not clear enough. Never mind: a little off-white size (non-toxic) mixed with a little water did the job. And the two layers of matte varnish (non-toxic and eco-responsible) give it an ultra-natural finish. Each piece of furniture has its own story and certain “defects” that are not proof of this. This is what makes it natural and original.
