Superb old louis XV period mirror in gilded carved wood. Very beautiful and rich carved decoration depicting rinses, shells, fire pot, palmettes and two heads of character. Ornamentations typical of the rocaille or rococo style which constituted the first part of the baroque period and dominated the first era of the style called louis XV (1723-1750) which knows its paroxysm in 1730.
