Elegant magazine rack from Danish designer Cees Braakman, in beech and rosewood. Everything is in perfect condition. The gold metal fixings are just a little patinated by time. Braakman's main influences are Herman Miller and Charles and Ray Eames. In the 1950s, upon his return from the United States, he began using rosewood and created the first range of modern furniture published by Pastoe. He continues to develop several popular furniture lines, characterized by clean and elegant lines, perfectly proportioned and suitable for small spaces. During the 1950s and 1960s, braakmanse focused on the design of modular storage systems. This magazine rack is one of the most emblematic examples of this period. In perfect condition. Careful shipping.
