Virgin Mary on carved wood

Wooden plate on base carved in relief of a haloed virgin, body from the front, head in profile, right arm slightly stretched forward. Plate 26cm high, 8.5cm wide, 5cm deep. Base 2.5cm high, 11cm wide, 6cm deep. Old work, craftsmanship, signed g.martin, popular art of the last century see older. General satisfactory condition, the wood is a little stained and has marks of time (cracks, knots). The left hand is missing as well as the fingertips of the right hand. Base slightly leaning back (origin for better visibility of the work). Light unknown wood. About 300-400gr. In its juice.
