Scandinavian style teak chair, France circa 1970.

Very beautiful Scandinavian-style chair made in France, distributed by Roche Bobois around 1970. The structure is entirely made of solid teak, and the originality of the slanted and openwork backrest is reminiscent of the design of chairs by Johannes Andersen. The seat has been completely refurbished by an upholsterer specifically for sale and is covered in a very beautiful and high-quality speckled greenish-grey wool fabric, providing a lovely contrast and a lot of brightness. Height at the backrest is 82 cm, seat height is 46 cm, width is 46 cm, and depth is 51 cm. In excellent condition and of ultra-high quality, there is just a small flaw, a chip of wood on one of the backrest rungs, which does not significantly affect the aesthetics (see the last two photos). This superb chair would be ideal as a desk chair or in a dressing room.
