Charles Schneider Vase - Charder

Vase with palmette decoration. 1928, art-deco period. On a white opal background, speckled with light purple, pattern ending in fans of light purple, gradations of darker purple in the lower part with a few bluish spots. Signed "charder", signature released with acid, and "le verre français" engraved on the base. Authentic production of the "Schneider" glassworks in Epinay-sur-Seine. In a perfect state. High. 34cm. Charles schneider (feb. 1881-janv. 1953) is a french art deco master glassmaker, student of daum in nancy and creator of the art glass brand "le verre français", with his brother ernest schneider ( 1877-1937).
