Description
Pretty zoomorphic terrine in the shape of a roe deer or young deer perhaps, ceramic made by hand. It has pretty colors (pale green, dark green, ecru, caramel, brown). It is signed michel caugan below, a breton butcher who, in the 70s, had these beautiful ceramic boxes made in portugal to offer his terrines. Caugan ducks are still easily found, but the roe deer is rarer, especially since it is in good condition for its age, just a small lack on the enamelling on the end of one of its antlers (easily masked). It measures 26 cm in length, 13 cm in width, 23 cm in height and weighs about 1.2 kg.
