Sandstone Pierre Digan La Borne candle holder, 60/70s

This pyrite sandstone candle holder is signed in the hollow of the shell of the great ceramist of art pierre digan (1941-2016), production of la borne 1960/1970. Piece of character with its raw flared base (as opposed to the enamelled blue of the collar and bobèche) and the detail of the handle beautifully grooved, it will be perfect in a vintage and scandinavian design interior. Dimensions: height 20cm - base 13cm - width with handle 13cm - outer bobèche 6.5cm (for inner candle 5cm).
