Vintage cigarette holder 1900 silver sapphire vermeil gold - 10 x 5.5 cm

Old cigarette holder, cigarette dispenser in 900 silver plated with 18 carat gold and circa 1900 sapphire clasp in good condition. It is an authentic jewel in good condition, the purple part displays a frank shine that suggests that it is glued tinted glass. Originally the exterior was to be fully gold plated but it disappeared with use and over time, only the interior is still gilded with fine gold. We can guess the traces of gold around the clasp outside. There is a sheet music engraved inside as well as the following hallmarks: 900 for silver 900/1000, 18 for 18 carat gold plating and 588 which is certainly the serial number of this unique piece. The clasp displays an original sapphire, it still works very well, as does the inner band that closes and opens perfectly. The ideal christmas gift for a smoker, or for a smoker: ) It measures 1cm in height 10 cm long and 5.5 cm wide. Its weight is 110g.
